Tinubu loses his local government to Peter Obi; Labour has 30,004 votes, while the APC has 21,276

Bola Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, has lost his local council seat in Ikeja to Peter Obi of the Labour Party.

When the results were announced on Sunday at the Lagos collation centre, INEC Yaba Secretariat, Peter Obi won the council area.

Mr Obi got 30,004 votes, while Mr Tinubu got 21,276.

The collation of presidential results in Lagos began around 6:00 p.m., and eight local government results have been announced, while 12 local government results are still pending.

Mr. Tinubu was victorious in Epe, Lagos Mainland, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos Island, Agege, Badagry, and Ikorodu.
