My day Dream By: Joel Eritomi

My day Dream By: Joel Eritomi

By:  Joel Eritomi

Joel Eritomi

Lost in thought, my mind begins to wander to a place of vibrant colors and endless possibilities. I find myself daydreaming of a world where I am the architect of my own destiny, crafting a life that is authentic, meaningful, and fulfilling.

In this world, I imagine myself waking up each morning with a sense of purpose and direction. I see myself cultivating healthier habits, such as meditating, journaling, and exercising, to nourish my mind, body, and soul. I envision myself surrounded by loving relationships, built on mutual respect, trust, and open communication.

As I daydream, I see myself pursuing my passions with reckless abandon, unencumbered by fear, doubt, or uncertainty. I imagine myself learning new skills, exploring new interests, and pushing beyond my comfort zone to discover new strengths and talents. I envision myself making a positive impact on the world, using my gifts and abilities to uplift and inspire others.

In this world, I am free to be myself, without apology or pretension. I am free to make mistakes, to learn from them, and to grow into a wiser, more compassionate version of myself. I am free to chase my dreams, to pursue my heart's desires, and to create a life that is truly my own.

As I continue to daydream, I feel a sense of excitement and anticipation building within me. I feel a sense of hope and possibility, knowing that this world is not just a fantasy but a reality that I can create for myself. I am inspired to take action, to make conscious choices, and to cultivate the habits and mindset necessary to bring this vision to life.

Prof. Isa Pantami

Prof. Isa Pantami, former Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, has urged more wealthy people to help the less fortunate in society to improve their level of living.

Mr Pantami made the call while officiating at the Fatiha of Muhammad Oyanki, member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly representing Doma North Constituency, and his bride, Rukaiya Shehu, on Friday at Annur Mosque in Abuja.

After a N100,000 dowry and the presentation of medical documents, the former minister and an Islamic cleric tied the knot.

He also asked Nigerians to pray fervently for God to intervene in the country's problems.

He prayed to God to generously bless the new couple's marriage.

The cleric congratulated Oyanki and his wife, advising them to demonstrate love, patience, understanding, and tolerance, among other qualities, in order for their marriage to succeed.

The groom afterward thanked God for making their dream come true.

The legislator thanked everyone who came to witness the wedding and prayed to God to provide them safe travels to their varied locations and to reward them appropriately.

Furthermore, Oyanki pledged his constituents of greater and more effective representation in the state assembly.

The Deputy Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Abel Bala, led other colleagues to the occasion.

The event's visitors were entertained by praise singers.

"The facility they have is not adequate for a young graduate to use especially the toilet and the bathroom. But here we are today the club has provided eight blocks of toilet and bathroom, well tiles, and running water.

"And not only that they had also gone ahead to lay the foundation of another ten rooms before now the corps members don’t have enough rooms but with this, they will have rooms to take care of a good number of them. And they will enjoy their year here," Rotarian Omotunde said.

The DG points out that the need to join Rotary can not be overemphasized "You can imagine if we have more Rotarians in Agbara, we are going to do more than this. The labor is large but laborers are few. We want the good people of Agbara, friends, brothers, and community people to join rotary. This is a place to put your extra money."

Adding that It is a good course to provide for the needy at all times and "make good use of your money, Rotary is good any day."

Rotarian Uche Okafor the President of Rotary Club Agbara told NewsPeddlers that "hygiene is part of Rotary's major service, we realized a lot of them are living under various unhygienic conditions and, these are even the leaders today. A lot of things are going wrong in that place.

The previous toilet and bathroom are not supposed to be used by humans, when we discovered that we felt Rotary should come to their aid, which is why we built the toilet and bathroom and we are hoping in course of time they join Rotary Club to contribute what they could to the development of the society," the president said.

He pointed out that the bulk of the funding had come from individuals and corporate bodies. "We started raising found for this project, at the investiture and as Rotarians, we all contribute from our pocket and we intend to reach out to our friends and corporate body for support."

"Everyone is expected to join Rotary because a Rotarian is a person that plants a tree he will never seat under, a person that builds schools their children will never attend, we did it at Igere-Hunsa, where we built a huge structure. We have been doing a lot of good to our community, Rotary is local and global forming a body of global professionals," Rotarian Okafor added.

Rotary has played lots of roles in the past in contributing to society, the club has connected people from various aspects of life.

The president assured the people of Agbara that more life-touching projects are still coming during this Rotary year and he will not be tired till next year when he will be handing over.

Rotarian Fati Odunayo Boluwaji the service project director of rotary club Agbara, said a need assessment was carried out on different locations at the inception of this Rotary year and the board of Agbara approved that there is a need to mitigate the gaps in toilet and room we discovered at NYSC lodge Agbara.

"The project has been segmented into two phases, the first is completing and commissioning eight blocks of toilets and bathrooms which took us about a month with an estimated cost of N5.2 million to get it done.

"The second phase is laying the foundation for another ten rooms which was done today by our District Governor. The room construction is estimated to cost about N13 million and is to be completed on or before April 2023."

The project director further said, "Rotary being a humanitarian organization is serving to change lives and when we discover a need in society we task ourselves and friends, using our three T's Time, Treasure, and Talent in other to get it done."

"This is a huge project we are trusting friends and corporate organizations for support. We have done it before God helping us we are going to do it again," he added.

Oluwakemi Audu a graduate of material science and engineering from Kwara State University, the Corps member Liaison Officer CLO of Agbara said "this is a very good thing the existing lodge has been here since 1998 I can say it’s as old as me. The building actually needs renovation, the toilet and bathroom are nothing to talk about we queue every morning to use the toilet or bathroom."

She stated that though she would have passed out when the new building will be commissioned but she was glad to be part of those that would enjoy the new bathroom and toilet.
