IGBOGBELE, Badagry West LCDA – The Executive Chairman of Badagry West Local Council Development Area, Hon. Rauf Ibrahim Kayode Yemaren, popularly known as RIKAY, has taken immediate action in response to the alleged shooting of a woman by a Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) officer in the Igbogbele area.
The incident, which was first reported by local news outlet Badagry Parrot on Saturday morning, prompted a swift intervention from the council chairman to de-escalate tensions and ensure accountability.
Upon receiving the distressing report, Hon. RIKAY revealed that he immediately established contact with the Comptroller of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Seme Command. The immigration chief assured the chairman that a full-scale investigation has been launched to identify the officer involved in the alleged shooting.
