The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a 25-year-old man, Samuel Eze, in possession of a fresh female human breast in Awada, Obosi.
The suspect was nabbed during a routine patrol by a joint security team on July 6.
Police spokesperson Tochukwu Ikenga confirmed the arrest, stating that the recovered body part has been deposited in a morgue.
Eze is currently undergoing interrogation as authorities work to uncover the motive behind this horrifying crime.
In a separate incident, police rescued a kidnapped truck driver in Enugwu Ukwu and recovered ₦9.5 million worth of custard powder.
Three suspects were arrested after confessing to diverting the goods.
Additionally, a stolen Toyota Sienna with "Forum of Accountants Delta State" inscribed on it was found abandoned in Obosi.
Police urge rightful owners to come forward with proof of ownership.
Ikenga reassured residents of enhanced security through joint patrols involving the military, NSCDC, SSS, and local vigilantes.
