Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike has praised President Bola Tinubu for reshaping Nigeria’s leadership narrative, citing visible progress in infrastructure and governance that is "putting smiles on the faces of citizens."

Wike made the remarks on Saturday after inspecting key projects in Abuja ahead of Tinubu’s second-year anniversary in office. He emphasized that the president’s commitment to development is evident in the transformation of the nation’s capital.

"Leadership is the major issue. When you have the right leadership, people benefit," Wike stated. "President Tinubu has demonstrated a strong will to change Nigeria for the better through his Renewed Hope Agenda, and the results are clear."

The minister highlighted the administration’s focus on first-class infrastructure, noting that Abuja residents are already reaping the dividends of democracy. "Anyone who denies the progress being made is either blind or simply pessimistic," he asserted.

Wike expressed pride in the ongoing developments, crediting Tinubu’s visionary leadership. "Abuja has changed significantly, and we are proud to be part of this administration," he said. "What makes us happy is seeing our people happy—that’s the essence of governance."

He assured Nigerians that the government remains committed to fulfilling its promises, adding, "We are working for the people, and we will continue to deliver."

The Tinubu administration has prioritized infrastructure, economic reforms, and social welfare programs under its Renewed Hope Agenda. Wike’s endorsement reinforces growing optimism about Nigeria’s developmental trajectory under the current leadership.

As the country prepares to mark Tinubu’s second year in office, the administration’s projects and policies are expected to take center stage, showcasing tangible achievements in governance.
