Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende Abulbakre, the commissioner for youth and social development from Badagry, has facilitated an India education trip for another Badagry youth, Augustine Kiki, after facilitating the same trip for Wande Desmond.

This was disclosed earlier today on the official social media handle of the commissioner, stating that it's part of his New Year resolution.

He said, "As part of our new year resolutions from our just-concluded team retreat, I facilitated an Educational Training trip to India for Mr. Kiki Augustine, a proud Badagrian and member of my team who teaches at the prestigious Lagos State Model College, Kankon, Badagry. This trip is part of my effort to support and empower my community, Badagry, especially the younger generation. I believe in building a stronger community by providing opportunities for growth and development.

The commissioner, in his usual manner, is doing this after he recently facilitated the same trip for Wande Desmond in 2024. Ogunlende had also facilitated Finlande trip for five Badagry youths in 2024. not listing various scholarships he has given to numerous Badagry youths.

He said, "This is one of similar interventions that I have facilitated so far, and I want to encourage our leaders to continue supporting the younger generation, creating more opportunities for them to learn and grow. By working together, we can build a better future for Badagry and its people.

The commissioner In his nature has seen Badagry youths as his people, not minding political, ethnic, or religious affiliations, contrary to naysayers.

Ogunlende said, "I am committed to continuing my support for my people in Badagry and Lagos at large, and I am excited to see the positive impact we can make together.

Augustine Kiki who is now in India, told News Peddlers on phone that Ogunlende is a pathfinder and an epitome in that regard.

"It's a testament to a new dawn in public governance representation. This goes beyond the paparazzi that comes with it. It's more about prioritizing human capital development, which is fundamental to all-round development and nation building. So, I can say that Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende is a pathfinder and an epitome in that regard.

"I wish to thank the Honorable Commissioner particularly for this trip and all members of his team, of which I belong, for the gesture and the collaborative effort. Special thanks to Mr. Wande Desmond for the guidance all through the documentation," Kiki said.
