Hon. Olumayowa Akogun-Abudu, the Labour Party's chairmanship aspirant for Ojo Local Government, paid a visit to party members in Ward E Iba, where he promised positive change.

The meeting was held on Saturday at Surulere Quarters in Iba, Ojo Local Government Area, Lagos State.

Olumayowa assured the party members that he would improve the local government's fortunes because it was past time for the good people of Ojo to reap the benefits of democracy.

"Someone must definitely emerge after the election. Often, they come there and disappoint the people by failing to meet expectations. I have thought within me that everyone has expectations.

"Everyone has expectations from each government that comes in, mostly for positive emancipation, but many times these people have failed us, but among the crowd like you.

"I have thought within myself that I am the leader I have been looking for, and I am the only one who can create what is in my imagination; what you see before you is empathy and good governance in one man. If given the opportunity by God grace for the first time we will be having difference," he added.
