Lagos Police endorses BIFIF 2024, assures maximum security

SP. Benjamin Hundeyin the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer PRO, has assured Mr. Viyon Awhanse, Founder of Badagry International Film Cultural and Sports Festival (BIFIF), of adequate security at the second edition of the event.

He disclosed this on Thursday after Viyon, the Founder and CEO of (BIFIF), recently paid a courtesy visit to Superintendent of Police Benjamin Hundeyin.

The purpose of the visit was to inform the police officer about the upcoming festival and discuss potential collaborations to ensure a safe and successful event.

The event is scheduled to hold on November 13th to 16th, 2024, in various locations in Badagry, Lagos State, Nigeria. 

During the meeting, Awhanse briefed Hundeyin on the plans for BIFIF, highlighting the festival's commitment to promoting culture, film, and sports. He emphasized the importance of a strong security presence to safeguard attendees and ensure a peaceful atmosphere, just like the first Edition and any of their past events.

Hundeyin expressed his support for the festival and assured Awhanse of the Lagos State Police Command's commitment to providing adequate security. He outlined potential security measures that could be implemented to deter crime and maintain order during the event.

The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement to continue discussions and collaborate closely to ensure the success of BIFIF
