Betta Edu, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, reaffirms President Bola Tinubu's commitment to decreasing Nigeria's humanitarian crises and poverty.
Rasheed Olanrewaju, the minister's communications aide, made the announcement on Sunday.
The federal government has taken over the Youth Empowerment and Social Support Operations (YESSO) and Community and Social Development Project (CSDP) projects, according to the announcement, with the start of phase two of the initiatives.
The YESSO is a social safety net initiative that improves poor and vulnerable youths' access to employment opportunities and offers targeted cash transfers to Nigeria's poor, vulnerable, and internally displaced people (IDPs).
Similarly, the CSDP provides funding for community and vulnerable group human capital development, allowing them to embark on diverse development agendas.
The World Bank, according to the statement, also supported the programmes.
According to the release, Mr Tinubu has unveiled the World Bank's sustainability plans for the YESSO and CSDP in phase 2 through the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.

According to the statement, the legal agreement between Nigeria and the World Bank is not tampered with.
