"It was my first UTME, and I am also awaiting the results of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), which I also took this year. I applied to the University of Lagos and hope to study Chemical Engineering there."
"I never set out to be the top scorer; everyone wants to be the best. I am overjoyed and grateful to all of my supporters and encouragers."

Mrs Umeh said "The school provided an excellent foundation for her, In fact, because of the solid foundation it provides, I once decided that all of my children should attend that school.
"I make it a point to include her in household chores while she is studying. I believe that a child's success should be holistic, rather than just academic. I tell her she needs to know how to cook and handle various tasks. A woman's abilities should extend beyond academics. At home, I cause a lot of disruption to ensure they learn a variety of skills. She wants to leave home when she goes to university because she knows her mother will make sure she is well-rounded. I believe they should be involved in all aspects of life, including church and home. They should know God's word and look after their siblings. She must be responsible for them as the oldest.
"Reading has always been her passion. She has enjoyed reading novels since she was in primary school. I recall her primary 2 teacher inviting me once because she was reading in class while the teacher was teaching. She enjoyed reading novels since she was a child. Even when she's at home with her phone, it may appear that she's doing something else, but she's actually reading novels. She may not spend much time with her friends, but she is engrossed in literature. Her love of literature influenced her desire to pursue the arts at one point."
