Mele Kyari and Bola Tinubu |
To lessen the impact of the removal of subsidies on Nigerians, President Bola Tinubu has started implementing a structural approach to make affordable fuel through compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied natural gas (LPG) available.
This was disclosed on Wednesday by Mele Kyari, the Group CEO of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), in a conversation with State House reporters following a meeting with Tinubu.
The structural plan, which Kyari called as a "work in progress," is one of the President's palliative measures for the people, he added, adding that the plans would be released soon.
He proceeded by saying that a rehabilitation exercise was currently in progress at the nation's refinery and would soon be unveiled
