Abdulrasheed Bawa, the temporarily suspended Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Chairman, has been taken into custody by the Department of State Services (DSS).
Bawa arrived at the DSS headquarters at about 9:02 o'clock.
He is reportedly being interrogated currently by secret police agents, according to a source.
Bawa's presence was verified by DSS spokesman Peter Afunanya in a statement.
The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Abdulrasheed Bawa, has been invited by the Department of State Services (DSS).
"Bawa arrived just a short while ago. Afunanya made a brief remark, "The invitation relates to some investigation actions involving him.
It was repoted yesterday that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had sacked the EFCC boss.
