Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende, the special adviser to the Lagos State Governor on special duties and intergovernmental relations, has said that someone's network of friends determines his or her net worth.
Mr Ogunlende disclosed this through his official Twitter handle, @bolajiogunlende, after the Iftar and network dinner, held at the residence of the Group CEO of RED Media for Africa on Thursday.
He said that "networking is considered crucial in today's world, and it is often said that one's network determines their net worth."
"My good friend and brother, hosted his close Muslim brothers, along with a few close pals and business allies, at his residence. This has been an annual tradition that he upholds.
He further affirmed that this year, just like the previous ones, "we had a great time bonding and networking while enjoying a sumptuous meal.
"We also discussed the importance of breaking bread, and to top it all, we performed our Maghrib prayers, led by our own brother and Alfa Alhaji Oladimeji Lateef, who is a veteran actor.
"We all agreed that it's important to capitalise on such opportunities for networking and bonding."
"May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala accept our supplications in this holy month," he added.
