Comr. Gbowe Gabriel the National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN Badagry Local Government has commended Honorable Adeniran Olusegun Onilude, the Executive Chairman of Badagry Local Government for unwavering support.
Comr. Gbowe disclosed this at the leadership retreat and capacity building organised by NYCN, Lagos West Senatorial District between Friday, 20th, and Sunday, 22nd January 2023 at the Digital Bridge Institute, Oshodi, Lagos State.

He told News Peddlers that the retreat was aimed at educating and equipping leaders with the tools needed for good and better leadership.

The web. Portal (www.nycnlagoswest.org.ng) was created for the public to have access to information about each local government and for the coordinator of each local government to upload information on programs they have done.
"Progressively, the initiative is to bring The activities of NYCN local branches programms and events into the limelight," Gbowe said.
Hon. Gbenga Abiola, vice Chairman, of Agege local government, pointed out two kinds of leaders: a true leader and a just leader. He said "leadership is not all about power but empowerment, and we must understand leadership from the angle to serve, not to control.
"Understanding and practicing this would make us true and better leaders that the world awaits. He further emphasised the components of such leaders. To him, they must be purposeful, visionary, passionate, inspirational, and influential," he added.
Mr. Sejiro Oke Tojinu, the CEO of SejFarm who represented, Hon. Ogunlede Mobolaji, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Relations, spoke on 'attributes of true and better leaders.' Said that leaders must be creative and crazy, and must possess the ability to get things done.
