The Labour Party's presidential candidate, Peter Obi, is now leading in the results of the presidential election held in Lagos on Saturday.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared 17 local governments as of the time this report was filed (3:34 a.m.), before the collation was adjourned until 10:00 a.m.

Obi has received 449,088 votes in total, while Tinubu has received 416,431 votes, leaving.

Nonetheless, the results showed that Tinubu won in 10 LGs while LP won in 7 of the aforementioned 17 LGAs.

Tinubu won Agege, Apapa, Badagry, Epe, Ibeju-Lekki, Ifako-Ijaiye, Ikorodu, Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland, and Surulere local governments respectively.

Obi, on the other hand, emerged victorious in Eti-Osa, Amuwo Odofin, Ikeja, Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Kosofe, Oshodi-Isolo, and Somolu.

Only the outcomes of Alimosho, Ojo, and Mushin are now expected.

Recall that the Collation Officer initially announced Mushin LG's result, but it was rejected due to a disagreement over the figure.
