On Thursday, the open indicative rate was N461.25 to the dollar.
The highest rate recorded during the day's trading was N462 to $1 before it settled at N461.10.
During the day's trading, the naira fell as low as N439.96 to $1.
On Thursday, a total of $40.24 million was traded at the official Investors and Exporters Window.
