Fada community development association is determined to bring religious and tribal differences to an end in Zing local government, Taraba State also to rebrand its culture.
This was disclosed at the weekly sanitation, held on Saturday, where the commuters trooped out to clean their environment.
Hon. Felix Pascal Pulevo, aspirant SDP House of Assembly member told News Peddlers that the association aims to bring unity to our community, building bridges between religion and tribal dichotomy.
Bringing people together to celebrate severe festivals, we also have a local security outfit. We have been guiding the youths on their choice of career. The clean-up for this season started 5 weeks ago.

Alh. Umar Sa'ad Alkali the chairman Fada community development association said "it started as a youth development association in 2002 we started with sensitisation on drug abuse and health issues, enlightening the youths on the need to be educated and other civic responsibilities.
"We have commenced the building of the secretariat which is still under construction. We are engaging in sanitation looking at its health benefits. We clean the community every Saturday, open blocked drainages and fill the porthole on the roads."

Stating further that "we have a Healthy committee in the association headed by a health worker Madam Habibat. Due to the financial constraints, we have not been able to do as much on that because our found are from donations and registration fees despite the that we have various health plans.
"Last week, we organised a seminar where we talked with the youths about the dangers of drug abuse and the Panti Zing(the king) was in attendance," Umar added.
Highlighting personal contributions Felix has made to the development of Zing, he said, the post he is contesting for is just an avenue to continue and expand what he has started.
"I personally donated an oxygen marching to the town dispensary when I discovered that 1 out of 5 high blood pressure patients that visit the hospital dies.
Stating further that "recently I got in touch with an engineering firm in Yola, we already engaged them to come drill 100 boreholes in Zing where four have already been drilled.
"This is my second time contesting and this time the winning is sure, going there is just a continuation of what I have started, we are just seeking the platform to expand what we have already started. Earlier this year I sponsored 30 youths to the College of Education in Zing, as part of boosting education and the education status of Zing," He added.
