Adeluola Oladipupo, 25, has reportedly been arrested by police after allegedly raping a woman in a hotel and posting naked pictures of her on social media.
According to media reports. Adeluola Oladipupo enticed the victim into a hotel room in Ogba and had carnal knowledge of her without her permission. The young man was said to have photographed the lady's nakedness after the sex romp.
He was said to have sent the naked photos to the lady's boyfriend and demanded N150,000 as a ransom or else he would post them on social media.
Following his attempts to drain the lady's boyfriend of the aforementioned sum of money, the suspect then leaked the naked photos on social media in order to discredit the young lady. He was then reported to the police at Area G Command in Ogba, where he was arrested and detained.
During questioning, Adeluola admitted his crime but was unable to justify his actions against the young lady. He was then brought before the Ogba Magistrates Court, where he pleaded not guilty to the charges leveled against him.
The prosecutor, Inspector Mathew Ikhaluode, requested that the case be adjourned because the suspect claims he is innocent. The suspect was then granted bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in the same amount while the police conducted additional investigations to prove the suspect's guilt.
He was then remanded to the Kirikiri Correctional Centre in Lagos while his bail was processed. Meanwhile, the case has been postponed until May 22, 2022.
