Three students has died within two weeks in College of Education Zing, BREAKING: College of Education Zing, Taraba State lost three students in two weeks.The name of the students is yet to be revealed.
The third student was found dead in his room
in the early hours of today at Tudunwada, few miles from the school.
Speaking with a staff of the institution who
pleaded anonymity, told News Peddlers that this is the third death recorded in the
institution within two weeks.
The student was said to have took a substance
called “soak and die” which must have lead to his death.
“I’m also aware of the incident, he is a 300
level student from Wukari Local government, Taraba State. The student was suspected
to have took soak and die a substance youths
are taking today to high themselves, it’s also used to preserve corpse or for embalming.
If the substance is not properly mixed it can lead
to death, probably he have mixed it wrongly that why he died.”
The cause of the death of the student that died
two weeks earlier was not revealed, one of them was from Lau Local Government
Area in Taraba State, who was buried three days ago according to the source speaking
with News Peddlers.
He said the necessary authority are informed
already and the corpse would be taken to the parents in Wukari for burial.
Another source told News Peddlers that “ I was
really surprised hearing the incident, fortunately he is from my local
government, he looks familiar but I don’t know his name"
“The rate youths are taking drugs in Zing now
is two high and it’s becoming alarming, I hope there’s something that can be done
as to cub this as soon a possible.”He added.
