BREAKING: Vigilante Group Presents Bandit Leader's Head To Emir in Katsina

 BY: News Peddlers

In Katsina, special forces from the Civilian Joint Task Force vigilante group beheaded a notorious bandit leader known as 'Solar.'

On Friday, the notorious bandit leader who had been terrorizing Batsari town in Katsina was killed.

In a gory video that has since gone viral, vigilante members can be seen parading through the local community, displaying the severed head of the dreaded bandit with joy before depositing it at the Emir's palace.

Because of his broad daylight operation in the Jibia and Batsari communities, Katsina residents dubbed the notorious terrorist 'Solar.'

Solar is said to be in command of the armed bandits terrorizing northern Nigeria, particularly in a vast forest in Zamfara, Kaduna, and Niger states, where he has abducted an uncountable number of people.

Banditry has ravaged states in the North-West geopolitical zone, including Zamfara, Katsina, Sokoto, and Kaduna, in the last two years.

The marauders' nefarious activities have also spread to the North-Central and other regions of the country.

Katsina, President Muhammadu Buhari's home state, has been plagued by insecurity, particularly kidnapping for ransom by armed bandits.

Armed bandits have killed hundreds of innocent people and kidnapped many more, including schoolchildren, for ransom.

Earlier this month, the Emir of Katsina, Abdulmumini Kabir, condemned the criminal activities of armed bandits in many of the state's local communities.

The monarch immediately declared that the only way to end the banditry menace plaguing Katsina and the country as a whole is to "kill bandits" whenever they are apprehended.

"I am deeply troubled, as is our governor here, but I am relieved that they have been officially designated terrorists." So you capture and execute them. Since dialogue with them has failed, this is the only option.

"How can someone murder 20 to 30 people and then be taken to a correctional facility?" It does not bode well. If he comes out, he will return to his old ways," the emir, who has been vocal in his opposition to banditry, told Vice President Yemi Osinbanjo during a visit to Katsina.
