Actor, wrestling legend, and perpetual meme subject John Cena has set a new world record for the most wishes granted through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
According to a news release from the nonprofit organization, Cena has granted 650 wishes to children with critical illnesses.
The athlete-turned-actor began his professional wrestling career in 1999 and rose to become one of the most successful performers in big-time wrestling history. He has a WWE Championship record of 13 wins.
Cena has had a long history with the foundation. According to the press release, he granted his first wish in 2002.
In 2012, he granted the 1,000th request to a fan named Cardon.
According to the release, Cena is the celebrity that children most frequently request to meet.
When he meets the kids and gives them the opportunity to take photos with him, he frequently brings one of his championship belts.
