Medemaku Abayomi, a lawyer and aspirant for House of Representatives Member representing Badagry, disclosed his view today on the level of support Nigerians throw towards foreign incidents.
"We really need to check and re-check our brains and self worths as Nigerians, come Africans".
He said, if the current war in Ukraine could get so much support from Nigerians, why can't we channel such support to our fellow Nigerians going through more difficult times in the northern region of the country.
"The type of coverage, support and reportage we give foreign happening is alarming".
"What is happening in Southern Kaduna, Zamfara and other conflicts zones of Nigeria is worst than the War in Ukraine". Medemaku said.
Despite the high level of killing in the north, Nigerians has shown little or no concern. Which we need to look into and the love of foreign things is now taken to a ridiculous level.
"The killings and death recorded so far in Ukraine is less than the death recorded in 6 months in Nigeria Conflict and Insecurity Zones, yet we echo support for Ukraine while keeping mute on the death happening in Nigeria". He said.
"We have taken our love for ANYTHING FOREIGN, to an absolutely ridiculous level.
Is the Death, Life or Chaos abroad worth more than chaos, life and death happening on our Land?" He added.
