BREAKING: 4,500 Nigerian graduate are now qualified to receive N30,000 each - FG

In the Batch C Stream 1 of N-Power four thousand five hundred Nigerian graduates are now qualified to receive N30,000 each for the period of one year, this was announced by the Federal Government on Monday in Abuja.

This is a programme under the current administration of President Muhammadu Buhari which is with the purpose of lifting millions of Nigerians from poverty.

At the ceremony reported by People Gazette, 510,000 people were inaugurated for Batch C Stream 1, the minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq congratulated the beneficiaries.

Stating further that the Batch C was divided into two Streams. The first comprises 510,000 beneficiaries while the second Stream comprise 490,000 beneficiaries.

Sadiya said, Batch C2, comprise 450,000 people who would benefit as graduate, while 60,000 people would benefit as non-graduate.

“Today, we are here to inaugurate the N-Power Batch C1. The graduate beneficiaries are entitled are entitled to monthly stipend of N30,000 for a period of one year. The non-graduate beneficiaries are entitled to N10,00 monthly stipends for a period of nine months.

“All beneficiaries are granted an appropriate starter pack for their trade, to enable them to start their businesses in their trade. By the special grace of God, I hereby flag off the N-Power Batch C1 for the 36 states and FCT". She said.

Lai Muhammed, the minister for information said that the programme “Avail the Nigerian youth the opportunity to acquire skills, to enhance their lives, and even create employment for others”.

He further said “I have no doubt that lessons learnt in Batch A and B would be brought to beer in Batch C to achieve president Muhammadu Buhari’s vision, of lifting 100 million Nigerians out of poverty”.

The UN Resident Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs, Edward Kallon, had described the N-Power as a “milestone achievement” commending the current administration for the life changing intervention.
