The chairman of the Taraba State Joint Public Service
Negotiating Council, SIPSNC, Mr Dame Musa Buhari, have announced that all
workers are to resume work immediately.
He made this statement during a news briefing on the 8th of April
2021, hours after he encouraged continuation of the strike.
In his statement, the chairman said during the period of the
strike action, the organised labour have had series of meaningful dialogue with
the government.
Mr Dame also said that, modalities for implementation of the
new national minimum wage are being worked out within three months which is
April to June 2021.
"Consequently the industrial strike action is hereby
suspended and all workers are directed to resume work immediately" he
added.
Lastly, the chairman noted that, workers are equally
enjoined to report any attempt of victimisation on account of participating In
the state action from any quota to the organised labour.
