Lagos State approved bursary, scholarship awards for indigenes.

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has approved the release and disbursement of bursary and local scholarship awards to indigenes of the state who are students in tertiary institutions across the country.

News Peddlers gathered that, those eligible for the bursary are 6,411 while 416 will be beneficiaries of the scholarship awards.

This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Lagos State Scholarship Board today 9^th of April.

"This is to notify the good people of Lagos State and Lagos indigenes that are students in tertiary institutions across the country that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has graciously approved the released and disbursement of Bursary and Local Scholarship Awards to 6,411 and 416 beneficiaries respectively". The governor said

He further said “This is in line with the T.H.E.M.E.S agenda of the governor to ensuring that Lagosians are empowered through education to contribute productively to the local and global economies”.

He advised all beneficiaries make sure they do the necessary document to get their money.
