OSUN STATE, Nigeria – Association of Tourism Practitioners of Nigeria (ATPN) South West has officially appointed Fisayo Valentina Aderemi, popularly known as Crowns Queen, as the Pioneer Chapter Chairman for its newly established Osun State Chapter.
The announcement was made public today through a congratulatory message from the office of the National Vice President.
The message, signed by Hon. Apata Samson Olatunji Nunayon, National Vice President for the ATPN's Southwest Region, heralds Aderemi's appointment as a significant milestone.
It emphasized that her role transcends a mere title, representing instead a "call to action" to unlock the vast potential of Osun State's cultural and tourism sectors. This appointment marks the formal structuring of the ATPN's presence in the state, aiming to centralize and professionalize tourism efforts.
Highlighting the state's immense potential, the message described Osun as a "cultural goldmine," expressing confidence that Aderemi's leadership will position tourism as a "transformative force" for local economic development.
The ATPN South West leadership explicitly stated its trust in her "capacity, passion, and drive to build something strong, sustainable, and worthy of history." This endorsement underscores a collective belief in her ability to harness the state's rich heritage, from the Osun-Osogbo Sacred Grove to its vibrant festivals.
The congratulatory note outlined clear expectations for the new Pioneer Chairman, noting that the mandate will demand "vision, resilience, collaboration, and consistent execution."
Aderemi is being called upon to champion innovation, mobilize key stakeholders across the state, and strengthen partnerships between the public and private sectors. The core of her mission will be to "spotlight Osun’s rich tourism assets with the boldness and pride they deserve," a task that requires strategic marketing and community engagement.
