LAGOS, NIGERIA – Hon. Samson Nunayon Apata, the National Vice President (South West) of the Association of Tourism Practitioners of Nigeria (ATPN), has issued a strong charge for unity and collaboration to the planning committees for the upcoming inaugural South West International Tourism Expo 2025.
The call to action was directed to all committee heads, through the Chairman of the Publicity Committee, Manoah Kikekon, emphasizing that teamwork is the critical ingredient for the event's success.
The directive was formalized in an official memo, where Apata outlined the urgent need for committees to commence their strategic meetings starting this Friday. The high-profile expo is scheduled for December 5th-6th, 2025, at the prestigious Lagos Airport Hotel.
With the event positioned to showcase the immense tourism potential of Nigeria's South West region, the VP stressed that effective and immediate planning is essential to meet their top priority: delivering a world-class and impactful tourism showcase.
This expo is set to be a significant milestone for Nigerian tourism, aiming to attract local and international stakeholders, investors, and tourists. Apata encouraged all committee members to proactively communicate any challenges to his office, reinforcing a message of shared responsibility.
