Comrade Aladeotan David, the Vice Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Lagos West, has extended his congratulations to Amb. Ajande Pascal Viweavo on his recent election as a UNICEF Youth Marketplace of Africa (YOMA) Ambassador.
Pascal’s remarkable achievement follows his successful completion of rigorous courses at Queen’s University, Canada, where he graduated with impressive grades. Aladeotan, a prominent youth leader, praised Pascal’s dedication, describing him as a shining example of focus and leadership in today’s youth-driven society.
Comr. Aladeotan David, known for his unwavering support for youth empowerment, highlighted Pascal’s relentless commitment to personal and societal development. “Amb. Ajande Pascal is not just a leader but a beacon of hope for young people striving to make a difference,” Aladeotan remarked.
"I appreciate the Lagos State Government through the ministry of youth led by Mobolaji Ogunlende for their trust and support for Lagos State youths. I congratulate all the lagos state youths thst embark on the study tour to Canada and most importantly the NYCN LAGOS STATE Chairman." Aladeotan said.
He further urged other youths to emulate Pascal’s resilience and academic excellence, emphasizing that such achievements open doors to global opportunities. The NYCN Lagos West leader also stressed the importance of education and skill acquisition in nation-building, calling on stakeholders to invest more in youth development programs.
In his response, Amb. Ajande Pascal expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support, describing his journey to the international stage as surreal. “My first time on such a prestigious platform feels like a dream.
Traveling over 24 hours by air wasn’t easy, but the reward is worth every effort,” Pascal shared. He also thanked friends, mentors, and well-wishers for their congratulatory messages, acknowledging that his success was a collective effort.
The newly appointed UNICEF YOMA Ambassador pledged to leverage his new role to advocate for youth inclusion, education, and sustainable development across Africa.
