Lagos LG Polls: Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende Kicks Off Campaign for Badagry-West LCDA, Urges Massive Voter Turnout

Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende, the Lagos State Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, has officially launched the campaign for the upcoming Local Government and Local Council Development Area (LCDA) elections in Lagos State. 

Serving as the Director General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council for Badagry-West LCDA, Ogunlende rallied party faithful, leaders, and supporters in Ganyingbo on Tuesday, setting the stage for a vigorous campaign ahead of the July 12 polls.  

The campaign kickoff witnessed a massive turnout of APC supporters, demonstrating strong grassroots mobilization and enthusiasm for the party’s candidates. Hon. Ogunlende, addressing the crowd, emphasized the importance of unity and collective effort in securing victory for the APC. "We stand here today not just as party members, but as advocates for progress and development in Badagry-West," he declared.  

The Commissioner urged residents to come out en-masse on election day to vote for the APC, stressing that the Progressive Team represents the best path to sustainable development. "Our candidates are committed to delivering quality governance, youth empowerment, and social development. A vote for the APC is a vote for a brighter future," Ogunlende stated.  

The event also featured speeches from party leaders and candidates, who outlined their vision for Badagry-West, including improved infrastructure, education, and healthcare. The high-energy gathering reinforced the APC’s stronghold in the region, with supporters chanting solidarity slogans and waving party flags in a show of unwavering support.  

As the campaign intensifies, Hon. Ogunlende and the APC team are set to tour other communities in Badagry-West, engaging voters and reinforcing their message of progress and inclusivity. With the July 12 election fast approaching, political analysts predict a keenly contested race, but the APC remains confident of victory, banking on its track record and grassroots appeal.
