Nasir El-Rufai and Bola Tinubu |
Former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai has launched a scathing attack on President Bola Tinubu, calling his government "an evil that will destroy Nigeria" and vowing to join forces to oust him in the next election.
In a fiery Arise TV interview, El-Rufai admitted regret for helping Tinubu rise to power, declaring: "I contributed to this tragedy, now I must help remove this evil before it ruins Nigeria"
The bombshell comes just days after Tinubu praised El-Rufai’s successor, Uba Sani, claiming Kaduna was "toxic" under El-Rufai but is now "transformed."
El-Rufai quit APC for SDP after his ministerial nomination was blocked alleging Tinubu’s interference. He previously called Tinubu a "failure" and referenced his Chicago cocaine scandal and certificate forgery allegations.
