Barr. Medemaku Abayomi Noah, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Chairmanship Candidate for Badagry Local Government, has declared himself the most qualified and beloved aspirant for the position, citing his impressive academic credentials, professional achievements, and grassroots appeal.

In a compelling speech delivered on Sunday and made available to News Peddlers, Noah outlined his vision for Badagry, positioning himself as a dynamic alternative to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). The local government election is scheduled for July 12, 2025.

Noah, a 37-year-old legal practitioner and entrepreneur, emphasized his commitment to youth empowerment and transparent governance.

"I stand before you as an accomplished youth, a certified legal practitioner, a director of businesses, and a youth leader," he declared. "I believe in the emancipation of the youths. My fellow youths should be able to look me in the eyes and confront me if I am not doing the will of the masses."

Sharing his inspiring journey, Noah revealed how he overcame personal challenges, including losing his father during his university education. Through resilience, scholarships, and hard work, he earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B), became a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, and pursued further studies abroad, obtaining:  Master of Laws (LL.M) in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (Germany). Master of Science (MSc) in Human Resource and Industrial Relations. Currently pursuing a PhD.

Noah, who has visited over 20 countries and numerous Nigerian states, stressed that his exposure equips him with innovative ideas to transform Badagry.

Noah criticized the notion of local government leadership being a "retirement plan for ageing politicians," advocating instead for youthful, visionary leadership.

"Badagry has more resources than most European countries and Nigerian states, yet its potential remains untapped," he asserted. "I have built a thriving law firm here because I believe in Badagry. Now, I am ready to leverage our resources for development."

Noah dismissed claims that the APC would rig the election, urging voters to "vote en masse" for PDP.

"Your votes will count. Once you vote for us, I will become the next Executive Chairman of Badagry," he vowed. "I believe in you and the power of your votes. Together, we shall overcome"

As the election approaches, Medemaku Abayomi Noah’s campaign promises to focus on youth empowerment, infrastructure development, and transparent governance, setting the stage for a heated contest in Badagry.
