House on the Rock Pastor Adefarasin Caught with Illegal Stun Gun

 By: Manoah Kikekon

In a dramatic twist, Pastor Paul Adefarasin of House on the Rock Church was interrogated by Lagos police on Tuesday after a viral video showed him wielding a gun-like object later confirmed to be an illegal stun gun.

"What was recovered from him is not a lethal firearm but a stun gun, a prohibited anti-riot equipment," the police stated, hours after the high-profile cleric turned himself in for questioning.

While authorities clarified that the device was non-lethal, experts warn that stun guns can still pose serious risks. Wikipedia notes that in rare cases, the high-voltage shocks can cause fatal injuries, raising questions about the pastor’s judgment.

After hours of grilling, "Pastor Adefarasin has been granted bail while investigations continue," police confirmed. The case stems from a recent incident where the clergyman, also the convener of the Xperience worship concert, was filmed threatening a car spotter with the device.

Last week, Peoples Gazette reported how Adefarasin pulled out the stun gun, warning an "aggressive content creator" to stop recording his unregistered Range Rover. Despite his denials, Nigerians on social media demanded transparency challenging him to prove his innocence.

**Will this scandal shake his congregation’s faith?** Stay tuned as the case unfolds.
