Bola Tinubu |
Amid growing leadership crises within Nigeria’s opposition parties and accusations that the Presidency aims to establish a one-party system, President Bola Tinubu on Friday urged rival factions to resolve their disputes ahead of the 2027 elections.
Speaking at the commissioning of the newly constructed Left-Hand Service Carriageway of Outer Southern Expressway (OSEX) Stage II stretching from Ring Road 1 Junction to Wasa Junction (Apo-Wasa Road) Tinubu emphasized that as a president from a different political party, he could not intervene in their internal conflicts.
Reaffirming his Democracy Day commitment, he dismissed claims of pushing for a one-party state, insisting on a fair and competitive political landscape.
