Dr. Bonu Pius Semako a prominent Badagry leader in a move to foster political unity and grassroots mobilization, has declared full support for the "Greater Badagry Unity Walk", a landmark solidarity event scheduled for Saturday, July 6, 2025.
Organized by Comr. Whejiepon Anthony Ola of The Greater Badagry Rising Crusader, the walk is a strategic push to rally support for All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates ahead of the July 12 Local Government Elections.
The walk marks a historic first, bringing together the three leading APC chairmanship candidates from, Badagry Local Government, Olorunda LCDA, Badagry West LCDA.
This unprecedented show of unity aims to strengthen voter confidence, promote collaboration, and amplify the shared vision of "A Greater Badagry" under progressive leadership.
To ensure a successful event, Comr. Whejiepon has appointed Amb. Adetunji Adedeji Alex as Chairman of the Organizing Committee, a choice widely praised for his credibility and organizational expertise.
The streets of Badagry will come alive with chants of unity, development, and APC solidarity as supporters march from Olorunda to Badagry West. Political analysts predict this could be the most impactful pre-election event in the region, setting the tone for a decisive victory.
