Mr. Onilude Olusegun Adeniran, the Executive Chairman of Badagry Local Government, has attributed the success of his administration to the dedication of civil servants, describing them as the "unsung drivers" behind impactful governance.

Speaking at his Valedictory Executive Council Meeting, held at the Legacy Building in the council secretariat, on Tuesday, marking the end of his tenure, Onilude reflected on his administration’s achievements while praising the commitment of both political appointees and civil servants.

“This administration’s success was built on the hard work of civil servants. They are the silent heroes behind every policy and initiative,” he said.

The Chairman gave special commendation to three female cabinet members for their outstanding contributions:  Mrs. Elizabeth Kappo (Vice Chairman), Mrs. Sewede Pot-Balogun (Supervisor for Education), Alhaja Risikat Padonu-Hassan (Supervisor for Women Affairs & Poverty Alleviation).

“These women demonstrated exceptional leadership, proving that gender inclusivity strengthens governance,” Onilude stated.

The event also featured the recognition of Mr. Tadagbe Bolaji Aromavo, Special Adviser on Chieftaincy Affairs, as the “Outstanding Appointee” and “Man of the Administration.” Onilude praised his role in maintaining peace within the traditional council and fostering cultural development.

“Their professionalism and unwavering support were instrumental in our achievements,” Onilude remarked.
