Hon. Onilude Olusegun Adeniran, the Executive Chairman of Badagry Local Government, is set to commission the newly remodelled Badagry Town Hall on Thursday, July 3, 2025, The project, a key part of the chairman’s urban renewal agenda, promises to transform the premises into a modern hub for civic and social activities.
According to Dr. Sewedo Olayinka Samuel, Chief of Staff to the Local Government Chairman, the upgraded facility now features a guest chalet, two conference rooms, and a spacious multipurpose hall.
These enhancements are designed to elevate the town hall’s functionality, making it a prime location for official meetings, cultural events, and community gatherings. “This renovation reflects our commitment to preserving Badagry’s heritage while embracing modernity,” Dr. Sewedo stated.
The Badagry Town Hall, a longstanding symbol of the town’s rich history, has undergone a complete transformation, with improved infrastructure, aesthetics, and accessibility.
The remodelling aligns with the local government’s vision of fostering economic growth by providing a world-class venue for events and conferences. Residents have eagerly awaited the reopening, anticipating its impact on local business and social engagement.
