APC Badagry West Unveils 60-Man Campaign Committee, Appoints Mobolaji Ogunlende as DG

In a move to secure victory in the upcoming Lagos State Local Government elections, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Badagry West LCDA has inaugurated a high-powered 60-man campaign committee, with Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende, Lagos State Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, sworn in as Director-General (DG).  


The committee, inaugurated earlier today at a well-attended ceremony, also includes Badagry West LCDA Chairman, Hon. Gbenu Henugbe, and APC LGA Chairman, Hon. Peter Metome, as Co-Chairmen. 


The team is tasked with mobilizing support for the party’s chairmanship candidate, Hon. Rauf Ibrahim Yemaren (RIKAY), and his running mate, Princess Nutayi, as well as councillorship candidates across the council’s five wards.  


"It is an honour to serve, and I am fully ready to give my all to this assignment," Ogunlende declared after his swearing-in. "Today marks a renewed commitment by the entire committee and party faithful in Badagry West. We are rolling up our sleeves to ensure continuity of visible development and responsive governance."


The APC’s campaign strategy focuses on consolidating past achievements and amplifying grassroots engagement. With Ogunlende’s leadership a youth-centric commissioner known for impactful social initiatives the party aims to energize voters, particularly young people, ahead of the July elections.  


Stakeholders have expressed confidence in the committee’s ability to deliver a landslide victory. "This team reflects our party’s strength and unity, Badagry West will witness another resounding win for APC because the people trust our candidates to sustain progress." A leader said
