Transforming Education in Badagry
During his tenure in LAHA, Avoseh championed educational development through his Avoseh Education Initiative Program, providing books and renovating school buildings. He facilitated the construction of 18 classroom blocks in schools like Ajara Grammar School, Ikoga Grammar School, Igborosun Primary School, Araromi-Ale Ansari Ud Deen Primary School, Oko-Afo Ilogbo Secondary School, and Morogbo Primary School.
Infrastructure and Road Rehabilitation
Understanding the importance of connectivity, Avoseh facilitated key infrastructure projects, including: Construction of Iragon-Erekiti Bridge
Ajara-Agelasho-Agbovipe Bridge
Rehabilitation of roads within Ajara township in 2010 through the Lagos State Public Works Corporation.
Healthcare Advancements
As Chairman of the House Committee on Health, Avoseh played a pivotal role in improving healthcare in Badagry. His contributions include:
Maternal and Child Care Centre at General Hospital Badagry, College of Anaesthesia, 500KVA generator and a new mortuary at General Hospital Badagry, He also sponsored critical health bills that became law, including the Lagos Health Management Law (2015), which established LASHMA, and the Lagos State Safety Commission Law (2011).
Humanitarian Efforts and Job Creation
Avoseh’s compassion extends beyond policy. He personally sponsored free corrective surgeries for over 50 children with cleft lips and palates. Additionally, during his time in the Civil Service Commission, he facilitated employment for over 200 youths, with more than half being Badagry indigenes.
