COAS Orders Total Crush on Terrorists: 'Show No Mercy – Army to Deploy More Combat Forces

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Oluyede, has issued a stern directive to Nigerian troops: eliminate terrorists and criminals without hesitation. 

The command came as he closed the First Bi-Annual COAS Conference in Maiduguri, where top military strategists convened for three days to reinforce national security.  

In a resolute address, General Oluyede declared, "We will not allow these enemies of peace to destroy our society. Our mission is clear neutralize every threat without mercy." He emphasized that terrorists aim to dismantle Nigeria’s heritage, but the army will defend the nation at all costs.  

More Combat Forces Incoming: The Nigerian Army will soon deploy additional weapons and tactical support to frontline operations.  

Leadership & Mentorship Crucial: The COAS stressed that victory depends not just on firepower but on the courage and discipline of soldiers, urging commanders to lead by example.  

Strategic Plans in Motion: High-level discussions yielded actionable strategies to counter insecurity, with commitments to implement new measures swiftly.  

"Our discussions have set the stage for a stronger, future-ready army,"* Oluyede stated, praising the conference’s outcomes.  

With rising threats from insurgents and criminal networks, Nigeria’s military is doubling down on its offensive strategy. The COAS’s uncompromising stance signals a major escalation in the fight against terrorism.
