The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Oluyede, has issued a stern directive to Nigerian troops: eliminate terrorists and criminals without hesitation.
The command came as he closed the First Bi-Annual COAS Conference in Maiduguri, where top military strategists convened for three days to reinforce national security.
In a resolute address, General Oluyede declared, "We will not allow these enemies of peace to destroy our society. Our mission is clear neutralize every threat without mercy." He emphasized that terrorists aim to dismantle Nigeria’s heritage, but the army will defend the nation at all costs.

With rising threats from insurgents and criminal networks, Nigeria’s military is doubling down on its offensive strategy. The COAS’s uncompromising stance signals a major escalation in the fight against terrorism.
