The endorsement came during a courtesy visit to High Chief Mobee’s palace, home to the famed Historic Slave Relics Museum. A former Lagos State Tourism Board member, Chief Mobee has dedicated decades to safeguarding Badagry’s history, making his museum a must-visit landmark for cultural enthusiasts and historians alike.

Apata praised Chief Mobee’s relentless efforts in keeping Nigeria’s historical narratives alive. "His work has positioned Badagry as a key destination for heritage tourism," Apata stated, emphasizing how the museum serves as a bridge between past and present.

The visit underscores ATPN’s mission to foster collaboration among industry players. By engaging key figures like Chief Mobee, the association aims to amplify tourism visibility in South West Nigeria, driving both local and international interest.

As a leading voice in Nigeria’s tourism development, ATPN continues to push for stronger stakeholder engagement. This fellowship nomination reflects its commitment to honoring those who elevate the industry while inspiring future growth.

Grateful for the recognition, High Chief Mobee reaffirmed his dedication to promoting Badagry’s cultural significance. "Together with ATPN, we can unlock even greater tourism potential," he declared, signaling a promising future for Nigeria’s heritage tourism sector.
