Hon. Apata Unveils New Lagos ATPN Executive Team to Boost Tourism Growth

Lagos, Nigeria – In a major step toward advancing tourism development in Lagos, Hon. Apata Samson Nunayon, Vice President of the Association of Tourism Practitioners of Nigeria (ATPN) South West Region, has officially announced the newly ratified Executive Committee (EXCO) for the Lagos Chapter.  


The inauguration ceremony is scheduled to hold on May 1st, 2025, at the prestigious Airport Hotel, Ikeja, marking a new era of collaborative leadership in Nigeria’s tourism sector.

The newly appointed leaders bring a wealth of experience and expertise to drive tourism growth in Lagos. The ratified members include:

-Vice Chairman: Mr. Olaide Osoba  

-General Secretary: Mr. Emmanuel Oyira  

-Assistant General Secretary: Mr. Kolawole Paul  

-Treasurer: Dr. (Mrs.) Adedayo Oluwatoyin  

-Financial Secretary: Mr. Emmanuel Akande  

-Welfare/Social Secretary: Mrs. Alo Adenike Christy  

-Assistant Welfare/Social Secretary: Mr. Abdulkareem Balogun  

-Publicity Secretary: Comrade Ogunye Oluwaseun  

-Director of Corporate Relations & Engagement: Prince Adeyemi

Hon. Apata Samson Nunayon emphasized the importance of the new leadership, stating:  "I congratulate the ratified EXCO members and charge them to work tirelessly for the growth and development of ATPN. Together, we can achieve greatness."  


The event will be graced by top tourism stakeholders, including:  Director-General of NIHOTOUR, ATPN National President & Board of Trustees members, Representatives from expatriate communities, Leading tourism practitioners and media personalities.


The inauguration promises to set a strategic direction for Lagos ATPN, fostering partnerships, innovation, and sustainable tourism growth.
