Bauchi Governor Bala Mohammed Gives N20M to Families of Gubi Dam Tragedy

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has donated N20 million to support the grieving families of four State Urban Water and Sewerage Corporation staff who tragically lost their lives during routine maintenance at the Gubi Dam Water Treatment Plant.  

The victims Musa Ibrahim, Abdulmalik Ibrahim, Shu’aibu Hamza, and Jamilu Yunusa died while cleaning the water system in a heartbreaking incident that has left the community in mourning.  

Governor Mohammed expressed deep sympathy, stating that the donation was meant to alleviate the families' suffering during this difficult time.  

The Village Head of Firo in Ganjuwa LGA, where the deceased resided, expressed gratitude to the governor for the generous support.
