The 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will now begin a day earlier —on Thursday, April 24, 2025, instead of the previously announced Friday, April 25.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) made this adjustment to align with critical scheduling commitments involving the Board and its partner agencies.
All registered candidates can now print their UTME Notification Slips, which contain crucial exam details, including:
- Exam date
- Assigned centre (venue)
- Scheduled time
- Other essential instructions
To avoid last-minute hassles, candidates should follow these simple steps:
1. Visit [www.jamb.gov.ng](https://www.jamb.gov.ng)
2. Click on “2025 UTME Slip Printing”
3. Enter your registration number
4. Print your Examination Slip
JAMB strongly advises candidates to:
Print slips immediately (available from Saturday, April 19, 2025). Visit their exam centres beforehand to confirm locations, and Avoid delay by arriving early on exam day.
No centre changes – Candidates will only be assigned to exam centres within their chosen towns. No slip, no exam Without the printed slip, entry may be denied.
Dr. Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, emphasized the need for candidates to prepare ahead to ensure a smooth examination experience.
