Sejfarms Consults Limited, in collaboration with the World Initiative for Soy in Human Health (WISHH), is launching a prestigious Aquaculture Training Program for Young Professionals (TPYP-2025). Kicking off in April 2025, this initiative offers ten exclusive trainee positions in commercial aquaculture.
The 16-week intensive training will be hosted at Sejfarms Consults Limited in Badagry, equipping participants with hands-on expertise in catfish and tilapia farming. The curriculum covers fish biology, brood fish management, larval and juvenile fish rearing, feed optimization, disease control, and water quality management. In addition to practical training, trainees will benefit from expert-led seminars and lectures by WISHH aquaculture specialists with global teaching experience. To qualify for certification and final payment, participants must submit progress reports every four weeks.
Successful applicants will receive a monthly stipend, accommodation, and daily meals, though they must arrange their own transportation. Upon completion, participants will be awarded a certificate of participation.
