ISEF Spelling Champ Ezelioha Chibuike Wins ₦150K, Named Honorary Badagry Chairman for a Day

Ezelioha Chibuike of Iworo Ajido Senior College has been crowned the winner of the Isaac Sewanu Education Foundation (ISEF) Secondary School Spelling Competition, earning not only a ₦150,000 cash prize but also the prestigious title of One-Day Local Government Chairman of Badagry.

The thrilling event, held on March 26, 2025, at Badagry Grammar School, brought together top students from Badagry LGA, Badagry West LCDA, and Olorunda LCDA to battle for linguistic supremacy.  

Chibuike outspelled fierce competitors, including Alohutude Gloria Semande (2nd place, ₦50,000) of Government Senior College and Joseph Yemisi Precious (3rd place, ₦30,000) of Ascension College.  

Hon. Solomon Saanu Bonu (represented by Mr. Femi Iroko) applauded ISEF for fostering academic excellence, while Mrs. Ashaolu (ANCOPS Badagry Chairperson) urged students to sharpen their English skills. Mrs. Sewede Pot-Balogun (Badagry Education Supervisor) highlighted education’s role in national growth.  
  
English Teachers’ Coordinator Semako Temitope Olayinka pushed for wider participation, and Jacob Waniyon Francis (ISEF Team Lead) emphasized the competition’s role in inspiring students through healthy rivalry.  

Founded by Mr. Isaac Sewanu J. Isaac, ISEF continues to empower Badagry’s youth through education, leadership, and life-changing opportunities.
