Ajande Pascal Initiative to reward Badagry residents with 1st class from Nigeria higher institutions and high-performing student in 2025 Joint Matriculation Board Examination (JAMB),
Ajande Pascal, the pioneer of the initiative who spoke with News Peddlers on Monday, said last year's event was remarkable this year's event will be groundbreaking.
"This year, we will be excited to recognize and reward exceptional academic achievement, regardless of family background. We'll celebrate students who excel in JAMB and other academic pursuits.
"Building on last year's momentum, we saw students receive impressive awards, including a brand-new laptop and cash prizes from the Lagos State Commissioner for Youths and Social Development, Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende Abulbakre, who has promised to back the initiative." he said.
He said the initiative is dedicated to showcasing the academic excellence of students from Badagry, with a focus on those who have achieved 1st class honours. "Our goal is to inspire younger students and JAMBITES to strive for academic excellence, discipline, and moral integrity.
"Last year's program was a resounding success! We secured scholarships for five students, thanks to an anonymous donor who covered their school fees. Two of our students with 1st class honors received retention opportunities from universities, and several organizations expressed interest in partnering with the Initiative." Ajande said.
He added that the vision of the initiative is to continue highlighting talented individuals from Badagry, showcasing their expertise, and connecting them with growth opportunities.
