Hon. Princess Sesi Ogungbe Yussuf, the chairmanship aspirant for Badagry West LCDA under APC, has reaffirmed her interest in the 2025 local government chairmanship race and assured the people good governance.


She disclosed this to journalists on Saturday during an interview section with journalists in her, resident at Badagry, Lagos State.


This bold step is seen as historic as she remains the first female Chairmanship aspirant from Badagry West. 


As the current Supervisor for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Sesi emphasized the importance of women in leadership roles, particularly in the face of marginalization in the political sphere.


Assuring the people, Sesi expressed her determination to serve and deliver her best to the people. She also acknowledged President Bola Tinubu's unwavering support for the Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in Lagos.


Sesi further advised parents to remain vigilant and protective of their children as the festive season approaches.


Regarding the Lagos State House of Assembly's policy review, Sesi noted that it's a significant step towards strengthening democracy.


She commended the leadership of the Assembly under Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, the Conference 57 chairmen led by Mr. Kolade Alabi, and the public for their proactive efforts in shaping a better Lagos.


Report has it that the Lagos State House of Assembly's policy review aims to ensure effective governance and societal advancement.
