"We have been agitating for this for a long time for withheld Salary, arrears of promotion from 2019 till date, minimum wage, palliatives, arrears of 2023, 35% Salary, all are still outstanding.
"Our demand to the government is very simple let them attend to this and we promised to go back to our work. Another protest is coming up at Abuja on the 18th of July 2024 If the government did not do the needful thereafter, we will convey a NEC meeting where a division to go on strike will be taken." Hammed said.
He said the government still has the opportunity to attend to their needs, and prevent strike action. "However, if our money is not paid, we would not hesitate to give it in full dose to the government. We have seen that over time it's not going to be easy to get our rights from the government all efforts to talk to them as a gentle man has failed."
He added that "this is the last lap, and we hope something better will come out of this, all we are agitating for is a signed agreement, and so we don't have any cause to start agitating for what belongs to us."
