Ojo Labour Party warns members against fake grant disbursement

The council of Labour Party ward chairmen Chaired by Hon. Egwuibe Emmanuel, has called the attention of Labour Party chairman Hon. Oluwanifemi Elegbede and members in Ojo that the authorities of the part is not aware of the acclaimed disbursement of grants and should ignore messages or calls.

In a press release made available to News Peddlers on Tuesday, the Emmanuel said the party members should be careful and not to send their details to anyone on that pretest.

The speech reads:

We, the council of ward chairmen, in reference to the calls and messages sent to members of our different wards and, at this moment, officially state to all ward members in Labour Party Ojo, that the party has not been formally communicated to on the purported grant sent to members to forward their personal information.

Anyone doing so, is doing it to his/her detriment and should not hold the party responsible or bring such discussion on our official platform to cause confusion.

We also want to clarify that the information of members gathered previously for a grant has not been disbursed to date. Coming through the back door to speak with members will be strongly resisted.

We are always open to positive engagement in growing the party and empowering our members. Do take advantage of the opportunity to communicate with the constituted body as we are always ready to welcome anyone with good will and intentions.
