Mobolaji Ogunlende, the commissioner for youth and social development, reaffirmed his commitment to youth development by visiting youth centres in Lagos State, Nigeria.
Ogunlende visited Imota Youth Centre, Popo Oba Youth Centre, and Agbowa Youth Centre in Epe Division on Tuesday to check the state of the centres and what can be done to improve them.
Ogunlende said, that he remains committed to youth empowerment in the state and that the visit will further help the youths to thrive.
"Our commitment to empowering Lagos youth remains steadfast. Through these inspections, we aim to ensure that every center is equipped to provide the necessary support and opportunities for our young people to thrive."
He said, "Continuing our tour, we made our way to Imota Youth Centre, Popo Oba Youth Centre in Epe, and Agbowa Youth Centre."
He added, that the visit had given him the opportunity to see the state of these youth centres himself and had identified probable improvements that should be made.
"Each stop presented us with unique opportunities to assess the facilities and engage with the community. From Imota to Agbowa, we carefully observed the strengths and identified areas for improvement."
